This was one of my commissions of, Little Katie. I was fortunate enough to have known this beautiful yellow lab which made painting her a little bit easier. I purposely left a lot of space in the back ground to give it a contemporary feel. One of my favorite parts of this painting are Katie's eyes, nose and mouth. My intent was to highlight her face since she was such an expressive dog!
